Wendy Darling August My Besties Card

For the August My Besties Aussie DT Challenge,  I chose the Wendy Darling Digi from The Land of Pan by Sherri Baldy.  The theme was Anything Goes this month.

I chose a Central stepped card base for my August project.  The colour scheme is complimentary using Yellow & Purple together with lighter Blues and White.

 I chose to use various enamel & crystal dots to create the bubbles that surround Wendy.

Red & Gold Wedding Card

I was commissioned to make this large multi-paged Wedding card for some friends who are going to their relative's Wedding OS.  The colour scheme was Red and Gold.  The Bride is Indian and the Groom African.

Some progress and compositional photos.  

I hand-coloured the white roses ribbon using Copic Markers.  

By using white-based flowers, you can colour them to suit any colour theme.

Two of my favourite love sentiments.

Love Celebr8 products!  Their cardstock & chipboard embellishments are some of 

my favourites to use in my projects.

I used a range of red and white paper, resin and material flowers.

The first inside pages, with one of the love sentiments, featured.

Foiled rice paper with a floral theme was used to diffuse the dimpled gold foiled paper.

The layered gold, white and red cake is featured centrally on the second inner page.

The inner pages of the card feature a large love sentiment by Carina Gardner, Echo Park Paper Co.

One of the thickest and heaviest cards I have ever made. 
It was placed in a cardboard box to protect the flowers and layers.

Emma's Boots & All Wedding Card

I made this large multi-paged Wedding Card for a friend's June Wedding.  Her colour scheme was Navy, White and Silver with Australian Native Flora. 

Sides views of the exterior Front of card.

A4 White Stardream Cardstock was used as the base of the card with various Navy and mid-dark blues to accent and for the inner pages.

The first set of interior pages.  A quote on Love by Flavia is featured on the left page.  

The right side features a Wedding Dress with a diamonte belt reflecting the Brides actual dress, 

set in a Heartfelt Creations framed arbour.  

A burlap ribbon runs across the bottom of this page with the couple's initials in silver embossed stickers and cowgirl boots, which is what the bride wore.

The second set of interior pages of the card, featuring an Ultramarine coloured cardstock.

The Burlap ribbon continues onto the base of the right side of the card with embellishments that suit the theme for the couples Wedding.

One of my favourite love quotes by Heinrich Heine.
